WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is any time after 4:00 PM and check out is at 12:00 PM.
CAN I CHECK IN EARLY OR CHECK OUT LATE?
We are happy to accommodate early check in or late check out depending on several factors. Please contact the front desk for more information. Please note that there may be a charge for this , and that early check-in is likely not available on any tournament weekend, and on most Saturdays.
WHAT DO I NEED TO CHECK IN?
A government issued ID or passport, as well as credit card that can be authorized for the remainder of your balance as well as $50/night for incidentals.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO CHECK IN?
In order to check in, you must be 21 years old.
WILL MY GROUP BE BLOCKED ON THE SAME FLOOR?
Not automatically. Please be sure to call us and request any room preferences.

WHAT ARE THE IN-ROOM AMENITITY OFFERINGS?
Our spacious rooms are equipped with a mini fridge, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, ironing board, and iron.
WHAT AMENITIES ARE INCLUDED IN MY STAY?
Your stay includes complimentary access to open courts at our sports complex, as available. Guests over 18 also have full access to our fitness center. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi in all guest rooms and public areas. Enjoy delicious beverages and shareable bites at The Hydraulic Bar in the Champion Mill Conference Center. Our guests can also access multiple onsite retail outlets, including Municipal Brew Works, Champion Mill Arcade, and Petals & Wicks and Sara’s House. Please note hours of operation may vary & tournament admission is not included in your stay.
DO YOU OFFER MICROWAVES OR COFFEE MAKERS?
We have microwaves available in the common area. Coffee is available in the lobby 24 hours a day.
DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE LAUNDRY SERVICES?
We have coin laundry facilities on-site.
Food and Beverage
IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN MY STAY?
While breakfast is not included in your stay, we do offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches and assorted breakfast items for purchase in our hotel lobby. We also have food concessions open in the sports complex on tournament weekends, please see the front desk for the schedule. We are also within walking distance of downtown Hamilton, where you will find a variety of restaurants to choose from.
DO YOU HAVE A RESTAURANT ON-SITE?
Our Forklift & Palate restaurant is currently under construction however The Hydraulic Bar serves delicious, shareable food options. We do offer food concessions in the sports complex on tournament weekends. Please see the front desk for the schedule. We are also within walking distance of downtown Hamilton, where you will find a variety of restaurants to choose from.
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER RESTAURANTS NEARBY?
Yes, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
CAN WE BRING OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE INTO THE HOTEL AND EAT IN THE LOBBY OR PUBLIC SPACES?
No, outside food and beverage is not permitted in public spaces.
DO YOU HAVE PRIVATE MEETING ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR MEALS?
Yes, we have 16 meeting rooms inside the Champion Mill Conference Center a can accommodate a group meeting or meal with at least 14 days’ notice. Please call 513-273-8160.
House Keeping
HOW OFTEN IS STAYOVER SERVICE?
- Stayover service is provided every 3rd day. Housekeeping will be in for a light refresh to replace the towels, take out the trash, make beds, and restock amenities. If you are staying fewer than 4 nights, please note you will not receive housekeeping service.
- Should you need extra towels or amenities during your stay, please contact the front desk and they will have them delivered.
Parking
WHERE IS PARKING
When you arrive, you will pull up in the drop-off lane outside of the hotel. You will receive a parking permit at check-in and be directed to the appropriate parking lots.
HOW FAR IS THE PARKING?
We have multiple parking lots on site. Lot number 3, the nearest parking lot held for hotel guests, is approximately 400-500 feet from the entrance of the hotel. However, please note that we are a mega complex and sometimes parking can be further away, depending on availability and which lot you are assigned to.
WHAT IS THE HANDICAP PARKING SITUATION?
Our handicap parking is available in lot number 3 and is about 250 feet from the entrance of the hotel.
Cancellations and Changes
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
- Our cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival for a full refund. After that, there is a 1-night room and tax cancellation fee.
- Miami University Event Weekends (including Parent's Weekend & Graduation Weekend) will be subject to a 7-day cancellation window.
CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY RESERVATION?
Yes, you can make changes to your reservation up to 72 hours prior to arrival. After that, there may be a change fee.
Spooky Nook Sports Complex
WHAT IS SPOOKY NOOK?
- Spooky Nook Champion Mill is the largest indoor sports facility, spanning 1.2 million square feet. We offer a wide variety of amenities to meet the needs of athletes, travelers, and businesses alike.
- Sporting facilities: We have 28 basketball courts, 46 volleyball courts, turf soccer fields, and more. We can accommodate nearly any major dry-land sports.
- Hotel: Our 233-room hotel offers comfortable accommodations for guests of all ages.

Yes, we are now a pet-friendly hotel!

There will be a fee of $50 per stay, any stay longer than 3 nights will require an additional $10/night.

WHY ARE YOU CALLED SPOOKY NOOK?
The area of our original location, in Manheim, Pennsylvania - used to be the site of a remote train station, where the wind would make eerie sounds while passengers waited for their rides. That's why the road the Pennsylvania Spooky Nook Sports facility is located on is called Spooky Nook Road. The complex is named after the road.
